As I described before, clairsentient people are super sensitive to their environment. If clutter and subtle alterations affect your thinking and output, focus on what’s around you before starting to practice your clairsentient skills.
So first, bring more positivity into your life and change your apartment into a place where you feel relaxed and comfortable.

Now you’ll have a nice clear space to comfortably meditate and practice psychic development exercises that will increase your clairsentience.
2. Use Your Clairsentient Abilities To Read Another Person
One of my favorite exercises to strengthen my clairsentience is to read another person. I use this 4-step approach:
- Ask a friend or family member to show you a picture of someone they know very well, but you’ve never met.
- Look at the picture and try to focus on the person’s eyes and try to tune into the energy of this person when the picture was taken. Was this person happy, relaxed? Or do you feel anger and stress? Note that if this is the first time you’re practicing clairsentience, you may just pick up basic negative or positive vibes.
- Ask yourself what kind of person this individual is. Would you trust this person?
- When you’re done, ask your friend for feedback. How correct were you? You can repeat this exercise as many times as you want.
3. Psychometry! Sense The Energy From A Personal Object
Another piece of advice to increase your clairsentient skills is to practice psychometry. This means reading the energy of an object.
To practice psychometry, you have to hold objects that you know nothing about and tune into the feelings you get about them.
Think of something in an antique store, a wedding ring, or family jewelry. Make sure that the object is from someone you don’t know.
Close your eyes and (if possible) slowly run the object across the skin of your hands, your arms, and the inside of your wrist. Try to feel what kind of energy it’s giving off and try to sense the energy of its owner.
Then tell the owner of the object what information and feelings you are receiving. Ask them how correct you are.
In the beginning, you might get wrong answers too, but once again, practice and this will improve greatly.
Tip: jewelry works great because the more an item is worn by the owner, the more energy it contains. Besides, metal can hold energy forever!
4. Balance Your Heart Chakra To Improve Clairsentience
Clairsentience is associated with your fourth Chakra, also known as the Heart Chakra.
This Chakra can be seen as a kind of bridge between thought, emotions, and spirituality, and is connected to all of the following:
- Your capacity for empathy
- The intensity which you can care for another person
- Your emotional openness
- Self-knowledge
- Self-reflective capacities
- How peaceful you feel
Learning how to open the Heart Chakra is a beautiful experience and it will allow you to build your psychic abilities on a healthy foundation.

5. Make A Crystal Grid

6. Meditate To Strengthen Clairsentience
Meditation allows you to connect with your higher self and become more receptive to intuitive messages. That’s why you have to start with meditation if you want to improve any psychic ability.
Nowadays, you can find a lot of guided meditations online. Try meditation with music, spoken meditations, and complete silent meditation, to figure out which style you prefer and try to squeeze a meditation moment into your daily routine.

Wow? I happened upon this. I have suppressed my visions since I was younger due to how young I was and seeing my aunts trying to channel their gifts, but could never suppress the voices from relatives and auras of relatives that had passed. I feel torn on what to write as I came across this by chance, feeling like I needed a recent experience to have some explanation. And I found this, this resonated with me so strongly. I know about things before they happen I sense energies emotions and thoughts from people animals objects, and have struggled to decifer or separate at times. I feel scared of how much in appearance my experiences separate me from others yet I know in reality I am so much more connected, I feel I am being pulled somewhere outside of myself, it is beautiful but so far from what is expected as societal normity. I am a 36 year old woman, no husband no children, Just Me in my life and Until recently I have made it a point to keep my thoughts n my emotions kind of bottled and suppressed only because I’ve always felt everything and anything so deeply. There are times Id walk into a room and just have to leave because I feel myself ready to cry uncontrollably or become enraged for no reason. I could feel something some force I’d always describe it when I felt whatever it was affecting me build up in the pit of stomach almost like a dragons flame when it’s about to spit fire. I cannot go in crowded areas i become physically ill, usually nausea or dizziness. I never took the time to look into it, just figured I have some strong emotional issues that I thought I was keeping under control without the use of medication. In the last 3 years Ive tried to understand why I always feel the way I do. My whole life I’ve kind of secluded/ been secluded from pretty much everything just to avoid all of this and reading further kind of puts me in this category but I’m afraid i have a problem where my energy itself is what is affecting me and those around me. I have recently tried to envision my positive energy so I recognize it so it’s easier to keep myself I guess grounded in that positive zone to help me against any of those horrible feelings I get, Can some light be shed on to this?
